Hello! My name is Nick Martin.

I am a Cleveland-based filmmaker, photographer, marketer, graphic designer and film student.

I currently study at Cleveland State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Media, with concentrations in Cinematography and Editing. I have taken up the roles of Director of Photography, Producer, Gaffer, Grip/Electric and more on multiple student films. My collegiate work has been screened in festivals in and out of school.

My years of independent documentary-style work outside of school have earned me widespread recognition, and I have proudly worked on numerous videography, editing and design projects as an independent contractor. I currently serve as Social Media Chairperson for the American Steam Railroad, a Cleveland-based 501c3 non-profit organization, and a Cinematographer and Event Coordinator for Dynamo Productions, a media collective with 150,000+ YouTube subscribers.

I was recognized as a Young Gun in Railroad Preservation by Trains Magazine in 2023, have been named on CSU’s Dean’s List numerous times in my academic career, and my photography won Grand Prize in the Nevada Northern Railway’s 2025 Steam, Steel and Strobes Scholarship.
