GRAPHIC DESIGN
We’ve worked on design projects as small as event flyers and as big as steam locomotives, and we’d be glad to consider any task you have for us.
American Freedom Train No. 250 Paint Design
Clover Leaf was behind the research and design of the new patriotic paint scheme for steam locomotive No. 250, which required weeks of historical research and careful design work, networking across the rail preservation industry, a six-hour drive to study an identical locomotive, and being on-site with ASR’s volunteers and contractors to ensure a quality product.
The project was debuted to over 1,000 members of the public at the Cleveland Railroad Festival on June 27, 2026, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.

“Save the Dates” Railroad Events Flyer
Nearly 800 of these flyers were handed out to attendees at the 250 Buckeye Train and provided a valuable initial boost to ticket sales.

Norfolk & Western No. 429
For this once-in-a-lifetime photo event, we presided over the design for Nella and Blacksburg station signs, the N&W bridge emblem and the front numberplate for locomotive No. 429.
This project required research via the Norfolk & Western Historical Society, measurements from the prototypes, carefully crafted custom vectors and coordination with a half-dozen collaborators to deliver products that look historically correct and mate up seamlessly.
